Abstract

Lead poisoning even today continues to be a frequent professional disease in many countries. Chronic lead encephalopathy features progressive dementia and convulsions. We present a case of chronic lead poisoning in worker of battery recycling factory who lived within the factory premises. The time spent by the workers in the premises of lead processing factories should be included in the risk factors of lead poisoning.
