Abstract

Ιn the present study we have compared the diagnostic advantages of fetal transabdominal echocardiography over transvaginal echocardiography. The results suggest that the use of the transvaginal probe is more reliable in the time period between the 11th and the 18th week of gestation, giving the best results between the 14th and the 15th week of gestation.
