OUR EXPERIENCE ABOUT DRAINAGE AFTER CHOLECYSTECTOMY

Abstract

52 patients have been operated for gallbladder stones and a rubber tube drain was left in the gallbladder bed for 2-3 days. The volume and nature of the fluid drained was not significant (15-55 cc). The value of routine drainage after cholecystectomy remains controversial.
