Abstract

I remember myself as a small child in the seventies in an orange Opel Kadett car, squeezing with my brother between mother and aunt while in the front seats father and uncle were driving and co-driving respectively. It's a shame that there is no photographic evidence... This happy company often started early on Saturday afternoons, as soon as we went to school, young and old, to various cities in Macedonia: Serres, Kavala, Drama, Katerini, Kastoria, I think Florina too. Weekend trip? Anyone can understand it in his own way.
