Περίληψη
364 adult patients of both sexes who were diagnosed with active pulmonary Tuberculosis during the years 1987-1992 were studied regarding the results of their sputum cultures. The results were analyzed in accordance to the place of the initial treatment: Hospital versus Home. The percentages of positive cultures were 34,3% for men and 30,7% for women. Up to 15% of the specimen were disregarded as inva]jd. The percentages in sputum positivity between inpatients and outpatients were similar. The 77% of the patients were initial treated in the Hospitals.Αναφορές
